OPR Dailly.Fairlie Cunningham daughter lawful to William Welsh,merchant in Dailly by Montgomerie Bell his wife was born 7Sep and baptized 13Sep1808.
The minister was Rev Charles Cunningham.A Fairlie Cunningham was born in Ayr
25Jun1757 and married in Kilmarnock 25Apr1812.
1851 Census 534 2/12 St Georges,Glasgow.108 Argyl St.
Fairley living with children James and Janet and a house servant.Had William and Montgomerie died? She was a widow and a confectioner.

1841 he had shops at 49 Argyll Arcade and 41 Buchanan St.

1851/60 Arcade shop now run by Mrs.J. Alexander.Joseph was dead.
1861 Arcade shop run by Mrs.J.Alexander,confectioner and pastry baker.House
31 South Portland St.
1871 Arcade shop but house now at Greenbank,Gourock.
1872/6 Arcade shop now run by Fairleys son James whose house was at
303 St.Vincent St.Not at this address in 1871 or 1881.
1877 onwards Arcade shop run by John Reid,confectioner.
Will - Confirmation of Fairlie Cunningham Welsh or Alexander,residing at Greenbank,Gourock,widow of Joseph Alexander,confectioner,Glasgow,who died 21Oct1891,at Gorock,testate,granted at Greenock,to James Alexander,Greenbank
aforesaid,executor nominated in will or deed,dated 15Dec1883,and recorded in court books of Commissariot of Renfrew,27Nov1891.Value of estate 630, 2s 6d.

(of path) where it bears left round Pepper Hill and Drummonds Knowe above the
empty house of Panbreck.The area around Panbreck has been forested.
!1841 Census-Green of Albany,Barr Parish,Ayrshire.Living with his wife and his six eldest children.He was an agricultural labourer.The next house in the
census was the home of his parents,his father being a farmer.Perhaps he worked on his fathers farm.
1851 Census- Laggangarn,New Luce Parish,Wigtownshire.Living on a 15 acre farm
with his wife and his nine children,none had left home.This time he gave
his place of birth as Douglas Parish,Ayrshire.Douglas Parish is in
Lanarkshire.Eighth child Mary born New Luce Parish in 1845/6.
1861 Census-Whitecairn Farm 48 acres.Living with his wife Agnes Davidson,five
of his children and his grand-daughter Fairley Wilson McQuaker(age 6),
illegitimate child of his daughter Agnes.
1881 Census - Laggangarn uninhabited.
!Newspaper:Galloway Advertiser 01Jul1880.At Craigoch Shepherds House,New Luce
on the 11 ult.,Mr.Thomas Wilson aged 80yrs.

Cause of death-Supposed to be senile decay,not certified by a doctor as he had
no immediate medical attendant.John Wilson,his son,signed death certificate.
He did not leave a will.
