Jennie McWilliam who might be her sister.She gave her age as 28,she was really 33.I have photographs of Fielding Street and Beech Street,Fairfield,
Presbyterian Church.Have map showing Fielding Street and Beech Street.
Her husband John Laing lived a short distance away in Gaerwen St.
1881 Census - Living in Glenluce with her father.Occupation dressmaker.
1883 - An Agnes McWilliam was a witness at the wedding in Glenluce of Mary
McWilliam - sisters?
Her sister Jessie was married in the same church in 1894.
After Glasgow,Liverpool was the nearest centre of industry if looking for work. Easy to get to by train or steamer from Wigtown or Garlieston.

On Maggies death certificate her husband is described as a railway carrier.He
predeceased her. She did not leave a will.

a deficiency of #131.The petition was granted and Mr.Thomas Symington,
solicitor,Glenluce,was appointed trustee.
Definition of cessio.A summary process in small bankruptcies.Abolished in 1913.
In 1891 and 1893 his address was North St.Glenluce.In 1893 on birth certificate
of daughter he was described as a horseshoer.
