These pictures were taken in the middle of November 2001 when we hired a car and took to the hills of Cyprus. Whilst there were still plenty of the older type of village house there was also plenty of more recently built properties, some of which were available for purchase. Three pictures in the bottom row are of empty houses in a small cul-de-sac of which there were 8 and only 2 occupied. We met the occupier of one of the properties who kindly showed us around two of the houses which were unoccupied. We were able therefore to obtain photographs from both inside and outside. We understood the prices were £80,000 and that they had been built three years before. As can be seen from the photographs the views from the windows were quite spectacular.
