The picture is taken at Boyton Rectory possibly in the 1930's.

The rector's granddaughter, Mary Sharp, is feeding chickens. The end of the big barn is visible on the right - it was used as a parish hall until it was hit with a bomb and demolished in 1942. The bomb was probably being dumped by a returning bomber rather that Boyton being a deliberate target!
