For more details tel. 01394 460435. Boyton Fete The weather forecast was right - pouring with rain in the morning and beautifully fine in the afternoon. We returned to the Village Hall for this year's fete and it gave the event a cosy atmosphere - there were no parking problems, thanks to villagers loaning out their drives and gardens. The local police lent us a few cones to use and approved the arrangements. We were entertained by the strains from a local fairground organ and afterwards from the Paul Hodgson and Micky McBurnie jazz duet. The fete raised £1065 in aid of the church and the village hall. Thanks go to everyone who helped and contributed on a very happy occasion.
