CONTACT June 2004 Newsletter for the Parishes of HOLLESLEY ALL SAINTS & BOYTON with CAPEL From The Rectory, I was interested to read the other day in The Times a report on how our rural churches are in decline. Not round these parts, I thought. Certainly there are changes in patterns of attendance, but the church, especially in Hollesley, is very much alive and an integral part of village life. One example of this is the Cabaraid event that we put on in support of Christian Aid, it was a wonderful evening of entertainment and all there had a thoroughly good time. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in Hollesley for all their help and support in maintaining the church as a centre of our village. I remain, yours faithfully, Geoffrey.
