HOLLESLEY ALL SAINTS & BOYTON with CAPEL
ST ANDREW

From The Hillside,

May you be made strong with ll the strength that comes from his glorious power, and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully giving thanks to the Father. Colossians 1:11-l2a.

When you are making your New Years resolutions will you consider the sheer amount of divine help and strength on offer? If you are hoping to improve the quality of your life in 2005 then try asking God to help. Hard achievements, to exercise, to stop smoking or drinking, are easier with a friend. The prophet Isaiah says, Do not fear, far I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you. The really exciting bit about asking God to help is that there are no joining fees, no harmful side effects, but lots of good ones, and you might discover that other exciting things happen as well!! Want to chat about it? Want to know more? Geoff and I are at the end of a phone or behind the front door.

Happy New Year to you all, Judith and Geoff
