'GARDENS OF ART'
CHILLESFORD
OPEN GARDENS
& EXHIBITION
Saturday
17 & Sunday
18 June 2006
2pm to 5pm
A vibrant and
diverse population of artists
in the small East
Coast Suffolk village
of Chillesford has
grown up over the past 20 or so years.
This is a phenomenon that
has surprised and
delighted its residents.
Wishing to embrace this
influx of creativity, the people of
Chillesford are opening up their gardens
to display as
much of the sculptures and art
as possible.
St. Peter’s Church, constructed of the local
coralline 'crag',
will house an exhibition of paintings
and act as
a starting place
for the trail. Here visitors can
pick up a guide and
set off on a tour of the 'Gardens
of Art', ending up at The Froize Inn. There
they will be able to see an
extensive collection of rare pheasant
breeds whilst enjoying tea and
refreshments.
Please come to Chillesford and
enjoy the work of:
