Fred
Your playing has to been seen to be believed, listening is not enough.I am convinced you have more than one pair of hands.
Would that I could play 2% as well.
See you soon.

Fred,
It was great to meet you at the weekend and exchange a little banter!!! You Birmingham boys!!!
Tom is now crazing me to get on and make a dulcimer. I really will have to make time.
Hope you had a good journey home. We arrived home safely at about 5.30pm. Not too much snow luckily.
Look forward to catching up again in July.
Kind regards,
Steve

Hello Fred, I came along at the suggestion of Jenny Coxon & am very glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed my wander around your site, especially the old photographs of players & dulcimers.
I was interested in the shape of those Birmingham style dulcimers too, I suppose the small size lends itself to the plucking approach.
I was also very interested in your project to have students make their own dulcimers - what a great idea!
I am the director of the new 'Causeway Dulcimer Festival', which is kicking off this June 10 to 12 in Bushmills, Co. Antrim. Jenny Coxon, plus a number of other stalwarts from the Cork Dulcimer Festival, including Christie Burns & Rick Davis from America, Jack Bethel from Scotland plus Barry Carroll, Nat Magee & Mary Phelan from Ireland are involved in this event, on the board of advisors

hey Giles is very overwhelmed with the site as he has never heard of a dulcimer and is keen to try it out. David said one day he would like to hear you play and meet this 'great man'. Philip is really interessed with the site. and me (laura) i dont like my picture please can you change it!!.

Loved your website and the beautiful dulcimers made by your students. Met you in June at Clayton and had an enjoyable chat and demo. Many thanks.
