General Information:

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Albert was the twin of Warwick Wellington Arthur Freebody.

At some stage he changed his name to Daniel Beltayne, and in at least one letter signed himself as Daniel Sherwood Delani-Beltayne. Daniel served with the 13th Field Company Royal Canadian Engineers.

It is known that for a period of time he lived in the USA with his wife and two children. He was deported from the USA in 1947 after "overstaying his time".

He was divorced from his wife in Washington, USA, in 1953. He died in Canada, probably Vancouver, date unknown.
