Ann Cox was born in Newbury Berkshire, and married Richard Moses Freebody who was a farmer on 31st October 1831.

They lived at The Limes , London Road, Speen, Berkshire at the time of the 1881 census. The census also gave Ann as having the handicap of being blind.

Ann was buried at Speen, Newbury, Berkshire on the 7th February 1890.
