Gail was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Lived some of the early part of her life until 13 years old in Edmonton, Alberta.

Gail married Clarence July 13th 1968, and has three children (2 girls and 1 boy), 6 grand children (5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter).
