General Information: William was born in Acton, Brentford, Middlesex. There is no entry for him in the1881 census that shows all of the family living at Old Oak Lane, Acton, Middlesex, UK. There is an entry in the BMD indexes showing a William Freebody's death in 1862, but this was registered in Hendon. It is possible that it is the same William, and he died as a baby.
