Skyla's Status

Skyla has already made friends with new comer and half sister: Kohana.

Skyla's History

This new calf was born to Kalina, and is the first orca calf of 2004! The calf was born in SWF's show pool at 10:10pm. She is Kalina's second female calf, but her first was a stillborn. Skyla is the first female calf, to be born at SeaWorld Orlando since 1996. Seconds after Skyla's birth she grazed her chin against the wall. For a while many people thought it was a birth mark, but it is now starting to fade.
