Sumar's Status
Sumar gets on well with all of his tank-mates at SWC. He gets on, best with Nakai. Sumar performs daily in shows and he is used for waterworks.
Sumar's History
When Sumar was only a little calf his mother harassed him and was aggressive. During a performance, Taima pushed Sumar onto the trainer's stage, slid out onto it, and began to viciously bite him. When Sumar was 10 months old, Sumar was transferred to SeaWorld San Diego with tank mate, Keto. When they arrived, they were first introduced to Corky, Sumar's surrogate mother. A year later, Sumar, Keto and Keto's older brother, Keet, were sent to SeaWorld Ohio. When SeaWorld Ohio was sold to Six Flags, Keet and Sumar were sent back to San Diego on 18th February 2001.
