Takara's Status

Takara is a *very* interactive orca and spent a lot of her time at the Close-Up, in her old home, with her daughter. On 24th April 2004, sadly Takara and Kohana were sent to SeaWorld Orlando, which caused a lot of depression to orca's and trainers at San Diego.

Takara's History

Takara was born in a family of dominant orcas and so was allowed to do many things other orcas couldn't do. Takara is Kasatka's first calf and only daughter. Takara's mother was AIed and gave birth to her half-brother, Nakai, and soon she was AIed and gave birth to her first calf, Kohana.
