Izu-Mito Sea Paradise currently holds Asuka. Asuka isn't Izu-Mito's first orca though. Shachi was Izu-Mito's first. Shachi was bought in February 1986 but died in March 1988. Izu-Mito then bought Tanouk from Marineland Antibes, in March 1989, who was later re-named Yamato. Tanouk died on 24th October 2000.
