Kamogawa SeaWorld's first orcas were a male called Jumbo and a female called Chappy who were both bought on 11th August 1970. Chappy died first in April 1974, and Jumbo died 3 months later. An orca Zero, was caught in September 1972 but died 15 days later. Calen, a female, died on 4th May 1987. She lived in Kamogawa for over 7 years. King, was caught on the same day as Calen, November 1979, but he died before her on 4th October 1983. Patty was bought in the November of 1984 and died 16th September 1987. Maggie was a female captured in October 1987. She has lived the longest out of all deceased orcas who have lived in Kamogawa. Maggie had to calves but both lived no longer than a day.
