In February 1967, was when SeaWorld Orlando's first orca was captured, Ramu. Ramu died on 12th January 1982. Sandy, a female, died in October 1977, 4 years and 7 months after her capture. Kanduke, the parks second male, was bought from Marineland Ontario. He died on 20th September 1990. Kenau, mother of Kayla, died at Orlando, on 6th August 1991. Gudrun, a female who mostly spent 19 years and 4 months of her life at Orlando, died on 25th February 1996. Kona 2, surrogate mother of Kalina, died 10 years and 3 days after her capture. Nootka 4, bought from SeaLand of the Pacific, was captured in October 1982. She died 13th September 1994. Nyar, a little female born to Gudrun, was born on 31st December 1993. Nyar died on 1st April 1996, because of mental problems. Nootka 4, Kalina, and Gudrun all gave birth to still borns.
