Taiji Whaling museum received it's first orca in December 1978. He was a mal that lived no longer than 5 days in captivity. Taiji got 2 more orcas, 2 moths after unnamed male* was caught. Tai* was a male that lived for 3 years and Chi* was a female who lived for 4 months. Tai* was the parks last orca, apart from Nami, who is still alive to this date.
