Ulises's Status

Ulises is a very gentle orca and is one of the few mature males to do water works with trainers. The only orca Ulises doesn't get along well with is Corky, and they have been permanently separated. Before Keet moved, Ulises and Keet had a very strong bond together and would sometimes play sexual games together. Ulises also really likes Orkid, but she doesn't share quite the same feelings with him.

Ulises's History

Ulises's first park was Saedyrasafnid Aquarium in Iceland. Bjossa, Finna and Vigga were sent to Saedyrasafnid Aquarium in the same month. In December 1981, Ulises was sent to Riolen Safari in Spain. Two years later he was sent to Barcelona Zoo were he had dolphins, as companions. For a while Ulises was very nice and cooperative but as he grew he became aggressive and unpredictable. He harassed the dolphins by trying to mate with them. In 1989 SeaWorld bought Ulises for a breeding loan. Ulises was transferred to SWC on 30th January 1994 and met Corky, Kasatka, Orkid, Splash and Takara. Ulises then became happy and wasn't aggressive any more.
