My first tutorial... its pretty lame but I wrote it to help a mate understand chmod and octal notation.

This is getting old fast... I'm in the process of creating an updated version which focuses more on the web application testing side. Still unsure of what to put in it but its slowly taking shape.

Covers the basic process of getting Apache up and running. I'm currently writing part two which looks at the security of Apache and goes step-by-step through a secure build. I will finish the series with part 3 and look at building a mod_perl, php and MySQL enabled site. Plus I will add some blurb about Version 2.x of Apache and some differences with building Apache on Win32 platforms.
