This Amateur Radio station is located and operated from the the market town of Spalding, South Lincolnshire in an area known geographically as the Fens.
Licensed as G8NWC since 1977, I like to think of myself as a experimenter rather than just an operator and gain great pleasure from home construction of antennas, and equipment. Previously my main activity centered around Amateur Television, but more recently to be found operating QRP on HF using the remarkable FT817 from Yaesu.
Member and committee member of the Spalding and District Amateur Radio Society, Radio Society of Great Britain, GQRP club, British Amateur Television Club, Fens ATV group, Television & Radio Industries Club East Midlands. Past fault contributor to Television magazine.
Employed locally, for the last 37 years at a local electrical retailer as a Television, Video, Audio, DVD and Microwave Technician.
