Sponsored Walk - Sun 2nd November

This page will become the focus for how the sponsored walk will run and how you participate, so please keep tuned in.

To start with we are going to keep things very simple.

Number 1

• Send an email to info@giggsy.org.uk to register your intention to walk.
• Just send in your name and your age if under 18.
• This enable us to directly inform you of how things are going

Number 2

• Get your sponsor form by clicking the box below
• Download to your PC and print off

Number 3

• Go get the sponsors!!!!!
• Just explain what this is for – it’s not some faceless charity, it’s for a dear friend close to all of us.
• Just imagine 100 walkers generating £50 - £100 each
• Friends, Families, Yourself
• Tip - get someone to put £1 a mile at the top of your sheet or £10 all the way – others may follow.
• Don’t be embarrassed to ask, think of Dan.
• Don’t leave it to the last minute.

Please do not get too concerned about the fact cheques are to made out to Farncombe Cricket Club and not Dan’s family. we will help the family enormously by keeping track of the money and handing it over in a controlled way, the last thing his Mum and Dad want at the moment is lots of cheques and cash arriving in an ad hoc fashion.

Barry & Joan, Dan's grandparents and Fran, Julie & Gary, his auntie's and uncle, are part of the organising committee ensuring everything is above board.
