Cancellation’s at Guildford Spectrum

Thu 21st October

I am very disappointed to inform you that after giving Guildford Spectrum all our Fixture dates in July , they have informed me in writing today that they have agreed to a request from A F C Guildford to cancel my pitches in their favour.  In August I agreed to lose 2 nights now they want another 4 which as you will be aware  sets our fixtures back.

At this moment in time I have decided to leave the fixtures as set and make the matches TBA at the end or at another venue. (my apologies to  Bexley as they have lost their first two fixtures).  I will ask Dave to see if Cobham could help us out by letting us have another night.  If you know of a venue that will give us total commitment please make some enquiries availability and cost.

Welcome to the Southern Counties Inter League Web Site for Season 2004 - 2005. All of the fixtures are on line, they can be seen in two different places, firstly in the Fixture Overview section and then in the Fixtures & Results section.

This year the web site is going to be of even more importance as this is where changes to fixtures will only be placed.

Also on line is the rules section, included here are the details of the contact line for the Pitch and Ground Status, particularly useful when the weather is causing doubtful playing conditions, please go to the rules section for the details.

In the links section we are linked to all of the participating league sites that I have found to date, please inform me of any others that require linking.

Please pay a visit to our sponsors site "Challenge Trophies" by clicking on their ICON sites above the menu bar.

My thanks to Dick Page for the information to date in getting the data available.

Regards

24th September 2002

WELCOME

On behalf of the Officials, welcome to a new season of Representative Football, this being our 7th season.

Unfortunately we have lost The Crawley & District Youth League this season, they did struggle to get sides out last season and getting suitable managers was a problem to run sides and attend to the administration.

After re introducing last season the Under 11’s League and knock out competition, which proved very successful with a good standard of football played right through to the final we will stage the same again after Christmas.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Directors of our sponsors ‘CHALLENGE TROPHIES’ of Ewell who have supported us continuously for many seasons.

This season we are only using two venues, Guildford Spectrum and Cobham Football Club.

We are hoping for another successful season, if you have any complaints, suggestions please get in touch with me or your league representative.

Lastly my thanks to our Chairman Dave Workman, Referees Secretary Bob Marchant, all our Referees and Assistant Referees, who turn out whatever the weather, and not forgetting all the League Representatives, without their dedication we would not be able to run the competition.

Thanking you all for your support.

Competition Secretary
