CHALLENGE TROPHIES INTER LEAGUE 2007/2008

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

 

1. The League will be known as the ‘Challenge Trophies Inter League Competition.

 

2. There will be two divisions in each age group (11,12,13,14,15) split into the Premier and First Division.  The top two of the First Division will be promoted to the Premier Division and the bottom two in the Premier Division will be relegated to the First Division at the end of each season.

 

4. All players must be registered with there respective Leagues and be eligible to play at there own age group but if they wish can play in a higher age group (max 2 yrs above there own age group)

 

5. Points awarded:  WIN = 3pts       Draw  = 1pt

In the event of teams finishing on the same points / goal average the team who has scored the most goals will take the place.

 

6. The time limit for matches are as follows :-

Under 11, 12, 13’s………. 30 minutes each way

Under 14, 15…………. 35 minutes each way

 

7. Fixtures for the season will be distributed to the League Representatives prior to the season and after two weeks will be set.

 

8. The first named League Representative/Team Manager to contact opponents 3 nights prior to the fixture to confirm details.

 

9. In the event of a League not being able to play a fixture on the date nominated, the fixture will be classed as unplayed game and the match be awarded to their opponents. A score of 0-0 shall apply and 3pts will be awarded.

 

10. In the event of a team not turning up on the night a fine of £80 may be imposed.  The defaulting team may lose 3pts (0-0) for that fixture also 3pts

may be deducted from there total.

 

11. K.O being delayed due to the late arrival of a Team for the 6.45pm K.O .

It must K.O by 7.00pm if not the game will be called off and the offending League shall inform the Competition Secretary in writing the reasons why

 

12. Players:  A team may only nominate and use a maximum of fourteen (14) players in any match. A player who has been substituted during a match himself becomes a substitute and may in turn replace another player at any time provided all such substitutions are carried out in accordance with Law 3 of the Laws of Association Football.

 

14. The first named League to supply two match balls :-

Under 11 – 14’s size 4 & Under 15 size 5.

 

15. If any change of colours is applicable the second named League will change. Any League not having a complete change of colours which causes the game not to be played will forfeit the match and will be fined £80. All colours will be as distributed and any changes must be notified to the Competition Secretary.

 

16. The venues for the Competition will be Cove, Cobham, Guildford Spectrum & Mole Valley Predators Fetcham.

 

17. All Referees and Assistant Referees will be supplied by the Competition Referees Secretary.

 

18. Any disputes regarding this Competition will be decided at a meeting of a Committee of the Leagues Representatives.

 

19. Any appeal against a decision of the Competition Committee to be made to the Surrey County Football association in accordance as set out in your Counties Handbook.

 

20. The Competition is sanctioned by the Surrey County Football association.

 

21. Failing to complete and return the Result Form with 5 days of the fixture will be fined £20.00.

 

22. A member League failing to be represented at a notified Competition meeting will be fined £10.00 

 

23. All teams to supply on the touchline a first aid kit.  A team who does not abide by this will be fined £50.

 

24. All Team Managers, Trainers and Substitutes must remain in the Technical Areas (except when the Subs are warming up to come on to the field of play and the Trainers are called on the field of play by the Referee)

 

25. Entry Fees to be agreed prior to each season and are payable in two parts.

 

26. Kick Off times at both venues:   6.45pm & 8.00pm

 

27. Guildford Spectrum:  The only people allowed pitch side are the Team Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainer and the nominated Substitutes.

NO SMOKING will be ALLOWED pitch side.  All Supporters, Parents & Children must remain on the terraces.

No ball games or Teams warming up allowed under any circumstances on the Running Track. A special mat will be laid from the changing rooms to the pitch.  Any offending League will be fined if reported £30. 

 

Please Note Cancellation of Matches: Only League Officials are authorised to cancel matches.
