After sending your application form and payment to RoADAR, you will be contacted by the examiner responsible for your test area. Between you and the examiner, you will be able to arrange a mutual date, time and place to take the test. (normally a weekday)

The test itself lasts approximately ninety minutes, this includes a short period of pre-test discussion about you and your car to help remove pre-test nerves. The test is conducted over a route covering a wide variety of traffic and driving conditions, and is designed to detect any weaknesses or potentially dangerous driving habits. Your knowledge of the Highway code will also be assessed.

You will be informed of the test result during your debrief immediately after the driving test. A full written report will also be sent to you within a few weeks of your test.

View and download the  Test Application Form and Test-Guidance-Document  Here you can find out how the test is conducted and what is expected of you and how RoADA grade the results of your test.
