Walter married Florence LOYND, daughter of William LOYND and Mary CHARNOCK, on 24 March 1913 in The Register Office, Manchester. (Florence LOYND was born on 30 November 1890 in 85 Edensor Street, Beswick, Manchester and died on 5 October 1972 in Crewe Hospital.)
