John married Jane Ann DONE, daughter of Robert DONE and Elizabeth PRINCE, on 11 December 1882 in The Parish Church Of St John, Manchester.¹ (Jane Ann DONE was born on 1 July 1861 in 1 Short Street, Salford,² died on 12 October 1914 in Salford Union Infirmary, Pendleton ³ and was buried on 17 October 1914 in Weaste Cemetery.) The cause of her death was Cardiac Failure and Bronchitis.
