This is my plan and progress for my next cats costume:-
I have been talking to other people that have been going or have done a cats costume before. And in the Cats Costuming Discussion Board <^_^>.
I have a very good idea for this next costume.
For the Unitard I have ordered a white one, but it still hasnt arrived yet. I looked into dyeing the unitard but I wanted to leave a white bib on it and the dyes that I can get will only work in boiling water, so I decided to use Liquid Soft Acrylic Paint. I have tried this paint out on an old pair of cycling shorts. I also got an airbrush for painting the unitard, I have been trying it out on the shorts, but now I have ran out of air so I need to get some more.
The markings on the unitard will be like Munkelstrap but with yellow, oranges and blacks colours. Instead of gray colours.
For the collar will make a spiky collar, liked the idea on Jadelynne J_A Collar page, Where gold tees are painted silver and then put on a leather strap. This is what I plan on doing.
For the wig I am going to try a yarn wig, from talking to people on the discussion bord and seeing the results it look nice. But I will possible muck it up.
I plan on finding a place where I can buy dance shows.
My face painting is not that good and I first used a cheap set of face paints, but now I have some theatre paints, that I havent used yet. I will use face like Munkelstrap but with some differences.
I havent decided if I am going to make different leg and arm warmers for this costume, because the leg warmers that I already got are tiger markings and they are ok. But I might make new once using rug yarn that i will do making the wig out of.
I have decided to make a Tugger bib, that is all fluffy. By using the remanding leg bit s of the pantyhose from the eig cap. Sowing the two ends up, cutting the other ends out. Putting two coat-hangers in them. Then using the same rug yarn that I will use in the wig. to fuzzy it up. and The metal of the coat-hangers in the pantyhose will keep it in shape and when you stitch it then the fuzzy bib with move above my head like Tuggers one.
I still am having trouble finding a place that sells rug yarn. polyester yarn in the UK. if you know of where I can get some please e-meow me.

Pre Colouring of uni. I sort of make another costume by mistake but I will not have it for long, because I am going to start coloring it. Once I get some air for my air brush.
Mucking around in the new uni that I got.
This will not last long as it soon will be colord. Looks like the Japan Tugger!!!!!!!

I like this as it is. But I must carry on making the costume that I set out to do.

The Bottom pics are of the second coat of paint, but you can not see it very well in the pics.
I have Gone throw two fabric markers so far doing the markings on the uni.
I have hopefully found a place that sell the right rug yarn in the UK. I am weighting for a sample to come throw.

I still havent finished the costume, where are some more markings that I want to add, a lot more smaller markings, and more needs to be done on the back.
There is still the wig, tugger bib, and maybe leg and arm warmers to do. But i need to weight until I get the sample of rug yarn and order the yarn then make these bits. Then it should be almost finished. And I need to get some dance shoos.
I really need to get some good dance underwear. A friend said that it is a good idea to wear a white swimsuit under the uni, thats what he said, Any comments.

I decided not to do a tugger bud I couldn't get it right.
I do not get any shoes for it either.
I sorted the underwear problem. I tried a dance belt, but it just made it worse. So found and are using a pair of thick cycling shorts. That has don the job the best.
