Any country that has similar facilities. Ham operators in several countries are working with their licensing authorities to permit its use. Notable repeater links one evening included Warrington / Oldham UK talking through a repeater in Illinois to a mobile in Chicago and a fixed station in New Zealand. we have also linked through a repeater in Nashville Tennessee to a mobile station who was driving to the airport, who then continued the QSO whilst piloting his own aircraft!
The link is active most evenings and weekends Please go ahead and use it. New Internet NOV holders? Need a hand with the set-up? I’d be pleased to help
G4HFG supports use it or lose it. The 70cms band is extremely valuable piece of spectrum worth millions to commercial users. Our colleagues fought hard to get it. Don’t let it fall into disuse.Hence USE IT or LOSE IT
