This was one metal band that could easily be enjoyed across the wide and varied rock music spectrum.
Classy guitar riffs together with a solid and powerful bass and drum set gave this band an equally powerful and edgy feel whilst the band’s lead singer provided their set with melodic charm.
It is at this point of the review that I should point out that for me this band were somewhat of a cross between “Evanescence” and “All About Eve”. Not being sure what the band’s musical influences are, their set was most certainly infectious and undeniably filled with the sort of musical passion and drive which is the mark of any great band.
For those amongst us in the rock fraternity who often complain that Metal is just about noise. Then this was one band to make you think again!
In fact this was a band with a little bit of everything from the beautiful melodic vocal tones of the band’s lead singer Heidi to the driving hard beats enjoyed by all true metal-heads. Add to this some serious musical talent and an accomplished stage presence; in which it is only fair to say, that their lead singer held the audience in the palm of her hand and what you have is a band that can easily transcend musical boundaries whilst being true to the music and to themselves.
Unlike a lot of Metal bands around at the moment, this band were like a breath of fresh air, neither being too repetitive or too confrontational whilst still delivering the goods with warmth, energy and raw power.
One hell of a class act!
