This week 3 Boys were seen on the common with airguns. When they were approached they claimed to be "shooting rabbits" this is of course illegal as is using an airgun in a public place if you see anyone doing this please ring the police immediatly.
The breeding season is upon us again. This week I have seen an increase in in woodpecker activity both calling and drumming. Great tits are collecting nest material as are robins.
