R2

R2 is an area of  raised grassland running parallel to Cedars avenue. There are several patches of oak, hawthorn, apple and bramble all of which are good for foraging tits, finches and warblers. The patch of scrub at south of the habitat where it joins R1 is particularly good in the autumn/winter regularly producing Goldcrest.

Flocks of Long Tailed Tits are common in this area during the summer.
