    JANET WALKER - Mandy

    Janet trained at Italia Conti and on leaving has worked in different aspects of theatre and television. Most recently she has finished playing Pauline in the War Project, Peas Blossom in Midsummer Night's Dream and Rose in the national tour of Hans Christian Anderson. Other credits include Hayfever at Canterbury, the Witlings at the Tristan Bates Theatre, Love for Love, The Enchanted, Bulb World at the London Palladium and Into the Woods. TV includes: Jan in Kids' Court series one and two, Amelia in Agony. A Touch of Frost, Coronation Street. Tamara in So Called Friends and Sophie in GMTV roll play series.

    DAMIEN LYNE - Billy Fury

    Damien most recently played the role of Angel Clare in Tess at the King's Head Theatre, Islington. Previous theatre includes a two year season with the Royal Shakespeare Company performing in King Lear, The Venetian Twins, The Merchant of Venice, Love's Labours Lost and playing Sparkish in The Country Wife and the lead role of Leslie Williams in The Hostage. Damien's other theatre work includes playing Richard in The Hummingbird at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs, Shaun in Skinwalker at the Grace Theatre and various characters in Newsreview at the Canal Cafe Theatre. Television and film roles include Pereno in Neverwhere for BBC2, Matthew Daniels in Yesterday's Dreams, ITV and Ben in the the film Consummation.

    IAN BARNES - Dr Riley

    Recent theatre includes: Eat The Enemy at the Old Red Lion, directed by Ken McClymont. Suicide In b-flat, Battersea Arts Centre, Return Of The Soldier, at the White Bear and the Old Red Lion, both directed by Andrea Brooks. He has toured in The Buddy Holly Story in both the UK and Ireland and his play Idiot Wind was shown at the Old Red Lion, directed by Grant Masters. When not acting Ian writes and records his own songs and his first album Digger Tweed - Post Cards From The Hedge, he describes as an album of rustic muck all about howling trowels!

    STUART JOHNS - Duffy Power

    Trained at Southgate Technical College then Arts Educational School Musical Theatre course. He first started in a Jersey summer season going from strength with a wide variety of shows from Jesus Christ Superstar to fringe and rep work such as You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, St Joan, and the Pirates of Penzance at the London Palladium. He looks forward to this new project in this new play.

    JARED MORGAN - Professor Rees.

    A dedicated actor Jared Morgan has, in his own words, had 'more parts than a jumbo jet.' His most recent manifestations include playing God in The Creation of the World and Other Business. Frank in Educating Rita, Fredrich Engels in Marx and Aveling, and Yankl in God of Vengence. His own play Benchmark was recently performed at the King's Head and he appeared in the film Rocka and the Angel directed by Rikki Tarascas. TV credits include The Bill, Casualty and the Ruth Rendell Mysteries.

    RIKKI TARASCAS - Director:

    Began producing and directing in the mid eighties with is own North West England based theatre company Theatre Totale & Fusion, which was highly praised for its visual and physical style. Since then he has worked both as director and performer with numerous other theatre companies, including large scale events company Welfare State International, Contact Theatre, the Royal Northern College of Music, Trickster, Kaboodle Productions, M6, Pit Prop, Pentabus Theatre Co and a circus troupe. His own company Inocente Art & Film most recently produced Clayman, a large scale out door event. With more than 60 directing credits his work ranges from Shakespeare to standup and he has taught widely throughout England and abroad, most recently for the BA Acting Course at Italia Conti Theatre School and Mountview Theatre School. His film Rocka And The Angel became a full length play that toured in the West Midlands until May this year and another of his short film scripts Courier, a psychological thriller, has just won funding through the Alfred Hitchcock Award scheme.

    MARTIN LANG - Lights and sound:

    Martin worked for various theatre companies in Manchester in the early 90s before going to Moscow for five years, where he did a post-graduate course in design at the VGIK Film Institute from 1993- 1995. He then worked as art director for Film Drome, a Moscow based production company which made commercials and music videos for Russian and European TV. Martin is now a freelance designer and illustrator for film and theatre and is currently collaborating with director Rikki Tarascas on several projects.

    REBECCA GORE - Costume:

    Rebecca has recently completed a degree at the London College of Fashion in Costume for the Performing Arts. She has done the wardrobe for ten short films. but this is her first stage show.

    CHARLES LANGLEY - Writer/producer:

    Previous plays written by Charles Langley include: Fathers, the Destruction of Dan Derga's Hotel, A Meal In The House of Simon and The Frisch Process.


    PRIDE WITH PREJUDICE is Upstairs at The Gatehouse, Hampstead Lane/North Road, Highgate, London N6, from Tuesday October 5 to Saturday October 30 1999. Box office 0181-340-3488.
    Performances at 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday, matinee only, at 4pm.
