Le Chai is a converted 17th century wine store, situated in a vineyard on the banks of the River Vienne. It is just 3 miles or 5 minutes drive from the medieval town of Chinon, where you will find all necessary amenities. Although the village of Cravant les Coteaux is a 20 minute walk away through the vineyards and has two cafes, a bakers, a post office and a garage. Le Chai a very idyllic and beautiful location and is the ideal place to explore the historical and cultural delights of the Loire Valley. 


This lovely property lies in delightful open countryside and is situated at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac overlooking the picturesque river Vienne which is only twenty yards away. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

There is access to a private riverside garden equipped with table, chairs and barbecue. Just the place to sit and relax with a glass of the owners' excellent Chinon red wine.

Guests can take advantage of the riverside location for swimming and there is also a beautiful river beach opposite.
