Commitment

When you book a holiday at The Coach House you agree to abide by the undermentioned booking conditions. Our commitment to you is to provide you with the holiday that you have booked and paid for.

Your completed booking form must be sent to us together with a deposit of 50%. You will be sent a confirmation of the booking by return of post together with the date by which the balance of the cost of your holiday is to be paid. The final payment will be due at least 8 weeks before your arrival date, unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund. If you book your holiday within 8 weeks of the arrival date full payment will be required at the time of booking.

If you wish to cancel your holiday you must notify us in writing by recorded or registered post. Cancellations will be effective from the date of receipt of your written advice. The following cancellation charges will apply:-

If we have to cancel your holiday a full refund will be payable. No liability will exceed the amount paid.

A week’s holiday at The Coach House is on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Arrival time is between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. Arrival outside of the laid down times must be by prior arrangement with the management of The Coach House. Departure time is by 10.00am

It will be the responsibility of you and/or your party members to:-

a) ensure that all passport, visa and health requirements are met.

b) make your own travel arrangements.

c) have all necessary vehicle documentation and insurance cover

d) arrange appropriate travel insurance including cancellation and health cover

The owner of The Coach House or his/her representatives shall not be liable to the client:

a) for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance on the premises
b) for any loss, damage, injury, illness or death, which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes, or any other matters beyond the owners control.

The costs of any breakages or damage to property at The Coach House will be charged to you as appropriate.

Occupancy

a) The number of people occupying the accommodation must not exceed the numbers as laid down by the management of The Coach House. In the event of excess accommodation being required The Coach House will offer to seek alternative arrangements.

b) The accommodation must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness on departure. A cleaning service is available at a small charge if required. Any costs incurred due to the property being left in an unreasonable state will be charged to you as appropriate

It is the aim of the management of The Coach House to provide a high quality of service to its customers. However, occasionally things may go wrong and it is important that such rare matters are resolved as quickly as possible. If there is any part of the service with which you are not happy you should first pursue this with the management of The Coach House at the time where every effort will be made to resolve the matter. In the unlikely event of a complaint, this should be directed to the owner Vanessa Keane, Courcey’s Glebe, Ballyspittle, County Cork, Eire.
