| This is a plant with a story, we won it in a raffle on the club trip earlier this year. It was alovely straight unstopped cutting about 32cm high. We thought we might grow it on to enter in the August show in the unstopped cutting class. Well it grew on alright, on and on and on. Eventually it decided to stop growing at around 143 cm! I couldn't get it out of the house let alone to the show in one piece. It truly was a sight to behold.
None the more for that it is a lovely flower with great blooms and next year we intend to grow a standard from the cut down plant and maybe a bush from the top bit. |
