| The fuchsia club decided to do a display on the stage for the Annual Show and wanted lots of the same plant, this one, and asked for volunteers to look after young cuttings and grow them on for the show. We took on three plants and duly delivered them in August for use in the display which thanks to the Show organisers looked a real treat. By a real coincidence we had bought a cutting of the exact same plant earlier in the year, it was to be part of an old wheelbarrow that we wanted to plant up. Upright, free flowering with upturned blooms it was a real success and will one for the new season in 2002. |
