Painter, born in Worcestershire, he studied at Birmingham
College of Art under Bernard Fleetwood Walker, and Michael Fletcher. In 1946
he was invited to join the staff at the Birmingham College of Art, later joining
Redditch School of Art as a lecturer. He is a member of the RBSA and was elected
ARWS in 1978. His work is regularly shown at the Chris Beetles Gallery, London.
