"I think Alvar Lidell always gives us much better news than the others."

This undated drawing was according to the reverse published in "The Sketch". It obviously dates from the War years and refers to the famous radio announcer Alvar Lidell. His dulcet tones were heard throughout the second World War. Measuring approx. 6 x 8 ins it is signed "Silenus" and the price reflects the small light blue paint stain in the lower left corner.
