Painter
and etcher, born in Worcester. He studied at Bournemouth
Art School, 1903 where he was later to teach for many
years. He won Gold Medals in National Competitions
1909-10. First solo exhibition in Bournemouth, 1930.
Elected ARE, 1916, and RE, 1936. Included in the
collections of The V&A, British Museum, Cheltenham
Art Gallery, Bournemouth Art Gallery, Southampton Art
Gallery, and Oldham Art Gallery. He exhibited on many
occasions at the RA, RE, and RI. SOLD |
