Breachwood Lion's Old Boys

Some of the Breachwood Lion's First Team Squad are now getting on a bit ,so in an effort to keep older players invloved in their Local Community Club and to give them more playing time we thought we would start the BLOB's a Veterans team. We would also like to extend an invitation to other potential local "Vet's" interested in playing. To ensure that the first team is not undermined and recognising that older players cannot always commit to playing every single Sunday Morning, we envisage playing friendlies against other Veterans teams in Hertfordshire every two to three weeks for the fist season to see how things go. Though we will be playing friendlies we will align ourselves with the http://www.midhertsvetsleague.co.uk where the teams can field two players over 30 but under 35 at any one time, but all other players to be 35+.
