Who are we?
Terrington
Village Hall Trust is a charity (reg. No 1063075) formed to run
the Hall and Recreation Ground primarily for the use of parish
residents, but it attracts a significant number of bookings from
across the area. Our committee, who act as managing trustees,
are mainly drawn from the village organizations that regularly
use our facilities.
There have
been Halls here since before the last War, but the present one
was built in 1994 on part of the Recreation Ground, with which
it subsequently merged. It offers modern, well-maintained premises
and facilities at an affordable price. Access from Ryedale and
York is easy and car parking plentiful. If catering or other services
are needed, we can usually recommend local suppliers.
We have
hosted parties, dances, meetings, seminars, workshops, theatre
shows, weddings, fashion shows, celebrations, clubs, societies,
badminton, snooker, football, tennis, sports days the list goes
on

What we've got
Main Hall
- 20m. X 20 m. Seats 200. Flexible staging and seating, lighting
rig available.
Committee
Room - 8m x 6m. Seats 60 in rows, 24 boardroom style
Kitchen -
Hot cupboard & fridge. Crockery & cutlery for 200. Good
food preparation area including 2 sink areas. Catering can be
arranged
Cloakroom
Well
maintained grassed area with well- drained football pitch, two
tennis courts, children's play area, indoor changing room, covered
veranda, 'inside if wet' option

How Much?
Whole hall for weddings,
dances and private parties about £150
Main hall function rate from
£54 for 3 hours plus free reasonable setting up time.
Main hall simple meetings
from £22.50 for 3 hours
Committee Room simple meetings
from £19.50 for 3 hours
These are evening rates - daytime is a shade
less. All include reasonable free set-up time. Even simple meetings
include kitchen access to make tea.
