CYNGOR BRO LLANDUDOCH ST.DOGMAELS COMMUNITY COUNCIL MINUTES AGM minutes for the Tivy Side and Web site St. Dogmaels Community Council report to be placed under the column for Llandudoch The budget and financial report was accepted by Councillors Planning applications. Tegfan, Tan y Rhiw. Princess House, Glanteifion. Ty Rhedyn, High Street. Allt y Coed, Poppit. Nantyrhodyn, Glanteifion. Green Cottage, Cwmmins. 13 The Moorings, Glanteifion. Planning permission. Stoneleigh, Alltfach. The Mount, Pen y Rhiw. The retiring Chair, Cllr Brian Ashford addressed the meeting, thanking all Councillors for their assistance and especially the Clerk, Mike James. Cllr Yvonne Wiltshire was elected Chair for 2010-2011 Cllr Jonathan Martin was elected Vice Chair for 2010-2011 Cllr Mike Goddard was elected Vice Chair for 2011-2012 The Declaration of Acceptance of Office and Code of Conduct was signed by the Chair and Vice Chair. Cllr Judith Gwynne will represent the Council on CAB and Cllr Jonathan Martin on the Memorial Hall Committee County Councillor Mike James gave a comprehensive report on his duties over the last month A Cymdeithas Llandudoch grant application (£13,000) has been accepted. Many thanks to Gill and Tosh for completing the application forms. County Councillor Mike James has requested the application to be placed before the June PCC Cabinet Meeting A petition has been received from residents in Glanteifion requesting pulling down the poles and lights at Glanteifion Green The Clerk will write to Dwr Cymru requesting a site meeting at the Pumping Station at Y Pinog Petition received from the residents of Pen y Rhiw requesting footpath 87/58 being kept open and proceed with the registration The speed cushions at Pilot Street were discussed and as they were placed there at the request of the residents of Pilot Street and they serve their purpose in slowing down traffic. Some residents say it is safer to walk along Pilot Street. County Councillor will have a follow up meeting with the PCC Youth Provision Team in June County Councillor will consult with PCC regarding the illegal dumping at the end of Union Terrace Cllr Gill Wislocka reported that PCC Contractors will start spraying Japanese Knotweed in the village within 6 weeks. She would appreciate as much help as possible in identifying the weed Cllr Brian Ashford reported that a Memorial Bench (near the Blessing Stone) for Mr Eryl Morgan has been damaged. Such vandalism must not be accepted Cllr Ian Gollop will continue to liaise with PCC regarding the illegal fence at Glanteifi Hill There will be a Health and Safety check on the Clerk office at Bronllwyn Correspondence received from Mr James Brannan regarding a Maritime Maintenance Facility on the Afon Teifi Village Regeneration: County Councillor has contacted PCC about the dangerous state of the Slipway at Glanteifion and some issues with the Pontoon. The Probation Group have completed their work in the village, the Clerk is to write a letter of thanks to the Probation Officer. Cynghorydd Melrose Thomas reported that the pots on top of the wall at Finch Street have been filled with flowers. Concern was expressed with the fallen trees in the river at Y Graig riverside walk, the County Councillor will contact PCC. Cllr Louise Rees gave a comprehensive report on the new village Web Site. Special thanks to Steve Night and to Steve Giles for his work over the years. Following a request from the Chair meetings will start at 7:30pm With no further business the meeting closed at 9:55pm, next meeting is on June 24th
