Just a quick line to say thanks for all your help in my preparation for the Inspectors Part 2 OSPRE exam, which I passed first time.
Without the 2 day course I did with you I doubt I would have had the 'tools' to pass the exam having been out of the OSPRE way of thinking for several years. Your course helped me to look at the stations and address the issues in a way that enabled me to maximise the 5 minutes.
With regards to the 'mock' exam it helped me to confirm to myself that I was on the right track with my preparation and I was not phased when it came to the real exam as I felt I had done it once before.
My score in the mock and the real exam was almost exactly the same, so your team of actors and assessors are obviously on the ball as regards the current system of marking and assessment.

Just found out that I passed the Inspector's part 2 at the first attempt. Completing your course and the mock exam were instrumental in this. The course removed all the nonsense I had been told previously about passing part 2 exams and I was confident on the day, using what I had learnt from the course, that I had given a good account of myself. Also, taking part in the mock exam was invaluable. Money well spent.

Just a quick line to say that I passed Part II. I can honestly say that without the input from Tryline I would not be in the position I now find myself in. Your mock exam at Durham was first class and mirrored the exam extremely well; this provided me with perfect preparation for Ryton. Most of my scores were pretty even although I excelled in Respect for Race & Diversity.

I wanted to say thank you for the course you held at Norfolk.
I actually left quite despondent as I did not do as well as I would have hoped. After a day or two I realised that the point of the course was to point me in the right direction and it had clearly shown me where I needed to make improvements.
I got stuck in to the examples, obtained Tryline scenarios from the last couple of years and worked hard at it using the learning points from the course.
Using your guidance / method clearly worked for me.

I have to say the scenarios you ran on the mock were spookily similar to the real exam - well done - dare I say it but I think I found your mock harder. Although I practised hard in between the course, mock and the exam, I made your input and advice the corner stone of my efforts and it clearly worked!
When I sat in the room at Ryton waiting for the buzzer - I knew that this was my 8th scenario and not my 1st - that really did help with the nerves on the day.

I successfully passed the Part 2 exam in October.
I've got to say the mock exam I did in Durham a week prior to my exam greatly helped me in passing the exam. Having gone through the process, it made me aware of areas I needed to improve on. One scenario I did at Durham was an unmitigated disaster - hardly any notes written down prior to the actors walking into the room - was a lesson I did not repeat in the actual exam!
Travelling up from South London to Durham in one day, and doing the mock, was quite exhausting, but was definitely worth it.
I will recommend your company to any of my colleagues taking the exam, and, provided the
Inspectors' exam still use Ospre in the future, I will probably be making another trip up North!

I am delighted to announce that I was awarded a pass. This was a first
time pass, which is absolutely fantastic. The OSPRE Part 2 world is very
different and I honestly believe that without your course I would have
struggled, or even worse failed. Don't get me wrong I wasn't relaxed on
the day, but I was safe in the knowledge that I had done the right amount
of prepping going into the unexpected.

Both the course and the mock were brilliant. I did not know about Tryline when I took my
Sergeants and used another company that made the whole system seem very complicated and confusing.
I also paid for "welcome pack training" that you covered in 10 minutes! Tryline de-mystified

I am writing to you to let you know of the successes from the recent Suffolk Tryline course.
You organised a course for us at Suffolk HQ and a group of us came up to Durham for the mock exam.

Just a few lines to let you know I was successful in the second part of the Inspectors Exam which was

I have no doubt whatsoever that this was mainly due to me having the course with yourselves,and also
attending the mock exam in Durham.

Of the seven officers who took part in the training six passed which I think tells its own story,we all firmly

I passed part two, but not only that I scored an exceptional pass coming in the top 1½% nationally.
Without the course I would not have achieved this - I went onto it very much in the dark about what to
expect. However, having then done the course and been guided by Mick I went into my Part 2 exam in a
ar more confident mood, armed with far more knowledge about a subject that otherwise I had
been ignorant of.
