RAF building work preparations: Paul is busy preparing for the RAF team to come in August. He has already purchased 65 bags of cement, 143 roofing sheets and had two brick moulds constructed. The day we left Paul was instructing two of the locals how to use the brick moulds. He is hoping they will be able to make 25 blocks per bag of cement and product at least 50 blocks per day. All this work is being done as per instructions passed on by Keith Pittson who is in charge of the building project. We hope to see some of the RAF group at our meeting on Saturday April 26th in Oswaldtwistle.
