Hilary Murphy (nurse) has joined the UK team as from Friday 7th April. She takes Mike Seery's place and
will be invaluable for her medical knowledge. Hilary has already visited Bethany on three separate occasions
and has helped with organising the Clinic etc.
New Gift Aid declaration forms are now available. This allows Bethany to reclaim 28p for every £1 donated.
There is no minimum amount and once the form is completed Bethany can claim the tax on all future
donations. (you need to be a tax payer to qualify). Send for a form today!
We are working on producing a web page with all the members of UK team on (+photos) so that enquirers
can contact members direct.
Next News/Prayer meeting will be Saturday 29th April 2000 between 10am and 12noon at Abbey Resource
Centre, 188-190 Union Road Oswaldtwistle. All are welcome. Phone for directions: Graham 01254 822767

The UK team met on Friday 31st March to hear Jo's and John's report on their latest visit. Much was
discussed but the most exciting news was that Faresi has another prospective volunteer visiting and working
at Bethany. He is Elisha, a man in his mid 20's who has been training at the Nassa theologoical college (just
up the road). He is to marry Esther(who we haven't met) on the 3rd June. It could be that we soon have
another married couple as volunteers at bethany!
Unfortunately Mike Seery has resigned from the team due to work commitments. We just want to take this
opportunity to thank Mike for all his efforts in the past and wish him well for the future. He assures us he will
still be there if we need him for anything specific.
The next meeting will be Thursday 6th April, 7.30pm at Jo's.
