Here are some extracts:
Dear UK Team, Family and Friends,
Hello all. Well it'll seem pretty quiet here for the next few days as
the school holidays are over, the first day of the new term starts
today. Fares, Grace and Moses, Nuriyati and Regina all returned
to Bethany on the same day Brian began his journey home.
Tracey and Rachel enjoyed a couple of days in Musoma last
weekend and we did manage to find out a little bit about goats which
are particularly good for milk. There's apparently an organisation in
Mwanza which deals in dairy animals, we have their address so
we're going to investigate.
We are going to take a trip to Mwanza tomorrow as Rehema J is
suffering from tooth acre and is overdue a visit to the tooth doctor.
We are also going to take Regina to Buganda hospital for an x-ray
to make sure that she hasn't got TB. Please pray for her as she is
not well at the moment. Rachel has also not been feeling the best
over the last couple of days. Everybody else seems fine
The possible new lab technician came to have a look at the place
last Wednesday, Fares and Tracey had taken some of the children
to Kijereshi but Rachel showed him around and Fares will try to see
him today to see if he wants the job and if he does when he can
start.
(end)
As you can see prayers are needed for Regina, Rehema J and
Rachel. We also need prayers for all the other aspects of Bethany
and especially that God provides us with a new lab technician.

Other News:
Don't forget the Prayer morning this coming Saturday- we love
anyone who is interested to just turn up!
All for now

News Sunday 8th July 2001
Here we bring you some pictures taken by Brian and others by Tracey and Rachel. You can
see the new baby Moses posing on his own and with proud parents Fares and Grace. You
can also see the swing that Brian welded together on his last trip. You may have thought the
swings were for the children but if you look closely you can see two others enjoying
themselves as well! Also, Minza is preparing to 'shoot' at netball watched closely by Jane.
Have you spotted the new football - it won't be new for long!
Other news - thanks to all who came to the Prayer meeting and Information day especially
those like Trevor who set off at 5am to reach us by 10am all the way from London , also Gill
from Leicester and Faith and friend from York.
Hilary, Sharon and Faith are now making their final preparations for their trip out in two weeks
time - unfortunately their flight leaves from Heathrow and getting to the airport is proving an
added problem.
Brian was exhausted on his return due mainly to his prolonged return journey which included
a long bus journey from Magu to Nairobi with an overnight inbetween.
We ask that you pray for Brian as he was taken ill on Sunday morning during the service at
the C.G.M in Nelson. We think he may have Malaria but he sees his doctor tomorrow
(Monday) so we should know more then.
All for now
