A parcel just arrived from Dave Shore (founding member) containing 17 x 4hour video tapes by David Pawson
on Unlocking the Old/New Testament. This is to help in our ministry to the church leaders in Tanzania. Now all
we need is a video projector and player to play them on? Thanks Dave, we're sure these items are soon to
follow!

Derek, Jo and John Fisher arrived back at Manchester 07.50 hours fit and well. Everyone at Bethany in good
health and encouraged by their recent visitors. Faresi and Grace are coping well - the children are growing and
at present everything seems to be developing smoothly. Derek and John have many tales to tell (this was their
first visit). Jo also had a challenging time (just getting back all the lost luggage care of KLM) which made them
a day late in arriving and included a nice leisurely bus ride to site. Please email if there is anything in particular
you would like news on.

Brian, Bill and Graham will be fixing the solar panels to the tower, installing an alarm and re-piping the syphon
system in the 'well'. Once this is finished the solar pump should pump sufficient water to allow some irrigation
in the afternoons once everyone has drawn water in the morning.
This will be Tracy Pearson's first trip to Bethany and she will need all our prayers as she tests her calling to
work long term for the project. Vicky Payne visits for a second time, like Tracy she is considering the
possibilities!!
Thursday 16th March:-
On Monday 13th March 2000 at 4am, Jo Hartley, Derek Hartley and John Fisher set off for Manchester airport.
With them they carried excess baggage to the tune of 30kilos. They had with them two replacement solar
panels and many spares for the water pump and Landrover. As yet they have not sent a fax to confirm their
safe arrival. We eagerly await to hear from them.
